Future Elevator

Other additions for our elevator that aren’t in our prototype:

1. Use friction from the generator to slow down the elevator, minimizing the energy needed, instead of using other methods that require significantly more energy.
2. Use gears to create resistance and generate more energy when it moves down.
3. Use a rack and pinion to yield more accurate motion and ensure safety of the user.
4. Use regenerative braking to generate additional energy when slowing down/stopping.
